After a recent hacker attack, the site was disabled for several hours. With the aid of Zach of Hailing Frequency, we managed to restore most of the files. However, for some odd reason alot of files ended up "missing" in various folders, and caused alot of problems with the old site. I was therefore forced into restarting the site from scratch, which means all users will need to re-register.
I will try to get this site updated as quickly as possible with a bunch of the old content as well as hopefully some new content. Rest assured, I have backups of most of the old files, but there were several critical files that were lost in the backup process. Any images or downloads are all firmly backed up, so they should be restored within the near future.
As of this post, I send out a general request, to anyone willing to assist in adding new content to the site as well as becoming moderators in the forum. Later this month, I will be getting very busy by going back to school so I won't have nearly as much time as I used to, and thus not as able to maintain the site or keeping it active. I hope there are atleast a few people who might be interested in helping me out on this.
For those of you who are new to this site, NanoFX Evolved is a state-of-the-art game engine being developed by several former members of the Star Trek: Bridge Commander community. Together with a team of highly talented artists, the intent is to create the Star Trek: Excalibur game, which upon completion will be made freely downloadable in a variety of distribution methods.
As the site has just been restarted, I will try to update the site with the complete feature list as well as it's current development status. NanoFX Evolved is designed to be highly moddable, and will utilize a wide variety of graphical techologies, to bring the player into the most graphically impressive Star Trek game to date.
